The property is located within New Tredegar within the Caerphilly County Borough. New Tredegar lies approximately 20 miles north of Cardiff, 3 miles north of Bargoed and 4 miles south of Rhymney. Road connections are provided mainly by the A4049, which runs through the valley and the A469 which connects the area with the A465 Heads of the Valleys Road. Tir-Phil railway station is a railway station serving the village of Tir-Phil and the town of New Tredegar. It is a stop on the Rhymney Line of the Valley Lines network.
