Welcome to our Auction to be held on 28th July

Having been back in a live auction room since Covid restrictions ended, stood on the rostrum with bidders in the room, online and on the telephone, one thing has become abundantly clear: bidders who attend the sale are invariably the eventual buyer and go home with an exchanged contract in their hands.  Of course, online and phone bidders are also successful and whilst every bidder, regardless how they engage with their bidding is treated in the same way, if you want to stand the best chance of buying, attending the auction in-person is your best option.

Add to that, this auction is packed full of opportunities with some 350 lots going under the hammer on one day.  So, as part of your due diligence in the lead up to the auction, not only should you view the properties on offer, in particular the one you want to bid for, download the legal pack and seek advice from your solicitor or conveyancer and, make sure you have funds in place for the deposit and completion, but you should also make arrangements to come along to the sale on Tuesday 28th July.

Our auction venue at The De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms is centrally located, easily accessible and a great place to come and experience the auction for yourself.  We are the only national auctioneer that holds a live venue auction so our sale is the only place you can experience this.  You will also benefit from having our highly experienced team on-hand to assist with any of those last minute questions, or ask one of the team to help you with your bidding.

Another benefit to attending is if your lot doesn’t reach the reserve, you are there, in the room, where we can phone through your offer directly to the Seller and put a deal together for you on the spot!

On top of that there are free refreshments during the day and if you are the successful buyer you get a glass of bubbly at the contracts table to celebrate your purchase!

If you are reading this catalogue in its paper/printed format I would encourage you to register on our website.  This is the only way we can update you with changes to any of the listed lots, advise you of new lots entered following print and, where you can access the legal packs and so much more including guidance for Buyers and indeed Sellers.

But, on the day, don’t sit at your computer and click-to-bid, come to the auction, meet the teams not only from Barnard Marcus Auction Centre but also from our Regional Auction Centres.  You’ll get to experience the exciting atmosphere of a real auction as well as giving yourself the very best chance of winning your lot!

In the lead up to the sale, we are here to help with all your enquiries and questions, we look forward to seeing you at the auction and wish you the very best of luck with your bidding.
