I always talk about the merits of bidding live in the auction room rather than relying on an internet link or phone line.  To me it’s obvious and, if it wasn’t the right thing for buyers, we wouldn’t be spending many thousands of pounds hiring the venue!  Being at the auction is the only absolutely safe and secure way to bid, it’s the only place that you can get advice and assistance on the spot from my highly experienced colleagues and, the only way you can get a feel for exactly what is happening in the auction and people you are competing with.  For this sale, there is an added incentive: The Christmas Lights are all up in London and trust me, they look amazing, what better excuse would you want to come to London, bid and buy a lot and then see the Christmas lights before the hoards of shoppers and tourists arrive in December?

This auction is steeped full of fantastic opportunities and more than ever, our clients want their lots sold before the year end so have priced accordingly.  The evenings are now drawing in so we have had to compress our open house viewings into daylight hours.  This means our teams of agents throughout the country are under more pressure to complete their schedules so please, if you are attending a viewing, turn up at the time stated.  We simply cannot hang around for late arrivals as we have another lot to go to straight afterwards.
