Bidders Registration for the 2nd and 3rd February Auction

The upcoming auction on the 2nd and 3rd February is fast approaching and will be via remote bidding only.

You will need to be registered to bid by no later than 12 Noon on Friday 29th January if you wish to bid for any lots in this sale. If you have not registered to bid you will still be able to watch the auction and bidding, but will not be able to bid for any lots.

Please note that you will be required to register to bid on the lot that you are interested in and an initial deposit payment totaling £6,150.00 (being £5,000 as the deposit payment and £1,150.00 inclusive of VAT as the Auctioneers Contract Documentation Charge) will be required before approval to bid is granted.

You can register to bid either live on the telephone, live online, or by proxy (where we bid up to a maximum limit for you).


To Register to bid by phone:
Please download and complete this form and return it to us with your identification documentation. Once complete this form should be emailed to bma@sequencehome.co.uk

Once we have received your form we will contact you to complete a Credas online anti-money laundering check, this is a government requirement for all our transactions and when this is complete, you are good to bid.

If you have selected “Proxy Bid” on the form, we will bid at the auction on your behalf but only up to your maximum stated bid, if other bids don’t take you to this level you may well buy the property for less than your
maximum.

Note for Proxy bids: You must confirm which lot you wish to bid for and a separate form needs to be completed for each proxy bid.

If you have selected “Telephone Bid” when the lot you have selected comes up in the auction, one of our experienced team will call you. They will tell you what the current bid is, the bid being requested by the auctioneer or web bidding platform and if you say “yes” they will make that bid on your behalf. You can bid on as many lots as you like but you must specify which lots so we know when to call you.

 

To Register yourself to bid online:
The easiest way for you to register to bid online is to follow the link on each particular lot.

On our website click on the “View Lots” button – this will then show you all the lots in this auction.

Then click on the lot you want to bid for and when the lot is open on your screen give it a moment and in the bottom right hand side of your screen you will see a “bid now” button – click this and the bidding window will open – don’t
worry, you cannot bid yet – not until the auction starts on 2nd or 3rd February BUT, you must register.

To register, click the “Login Now/Register” button. You will need to register via auction “passport” and upload some ID documents. Auction Passport is run by Essential Information Group – follow the “sign up” tab in the bottom left of the window and follow those instructions.

When you register to bid you will also need to make arrangements for payment of an initial deposit totaling £6,150.00 by Debit Card (this being £5,000 as the deposit payment and £1,150.00 inclusive of VAT as the Auctioneers Contract Documentation Charge).

If you are the successful purchaser, this initial deposit will form part of the amount payable on the fall of the gavel and you will be required to pay the full amount of deposit and contract documentation charge immediately. If we are holding more than the required deposit payment, we can either refund the difference to you (on receipt of the initial deposit payment into our client account) or utilise the whole amount as the deposit which will reduce the amount of the purchase price left to pay on completion of the sale.

For details on how to pay your deposit, please register to bid now and follow the instructions to make your initial deposit.  If you are not the winning bidder your initial deposit will be released and returned to you. 

Payment of your initial deposit may also be made by debit card or bank transfer directly with the auctioneers, please contact 0208 741 8088 to arrange this. Payments made directly to the auctioneers will be refunded via the method they were initially paid and within 48 hours of the auction day/s

After you have registered via Auction Passport we still need to do a last ID verification and we will contact you to complete a Credas online anti-money laundering check, this is a government requirement for all our transactions.

We will then set your account as clear and good to bid, all you need to do is log in via your Auction Passport (don’t forget your password and log in details) and when the bidding opens, you can bid!

 

Lots will open for bidding from approximately 9.30am. You will receive email reminders so you won’t miss a lot and we will remind you when the auction has started.
